There was a piece on Radio 4 about the horrific treatment of young girls and women by Catholic convent schools and ‘laundries’ in Ireland during the 20th century.
I’m afraid I’m neither tolerant nor forgiving of people who commit abuses based on their belief & righteous entitlement, whatever those beliefs…
